There is a vitality, a life force, an energy, a quickening that is translated through you into action, and because there is only one of you in all of time, this expression is unique. And if you block it, it will never exist through any other medium and it will be lost. The world will not have it. It is not your business to determine how good it is nor how valuable nor how it compares with other expressions. It is your business to keep it yours clearly and directly, to keep the channel open. You do not even have to believe in yourself or your work. You have to keep yourself open and aware to the urges that motivate you. Keep the channel open. ... No artist is pleased. [There is] no satisfaction whatever at any time. There is only a queer divine dissatisfaction, a blessed unrest that keeps us marching and makes us more alive than the others" Martha Graham

Connect your body and your mind

Emeline intermingles dynamique and gentle movements focusing in the alignement of the body. From her experience as a dancer, the movement is completely integrate in her teaching. Each yogi learns at his own pace. What matters, it is to feel good and enjoying class. And of course with a smile.

Yoga means to make one, combine our body and our mind. Striving for selfhood, it is the most precious gift we can offer us. To know ourselves, will improve our life and beyond, give us the capacity to give to others and live with other beings in harmony. Finding a peaceful state of mind, help us to face the obstacles along our road and understand that all the little joys are around us. In the yoga practice, we don't judge ourselves and don't judge others. We learn to listen to our body, to our heart and our emotions in order to move forward at our own pace.

It is with this philosophy that I wish to serve my students and share my passion of both yoga and dance.
